artist statement

A blank canvas is an inspiration for Nancy. Colour, mark making and intuition drive her to compose in a spontaneous manner, allowing the paint, pastel, mark making tool to take over. Nancy wants to capture a moment in time, frozen, and ask the viewer to imagine that movement and feeling.
